This is my family's favorite place to eat in town, and in my opinion is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Delicious food and great prices, with usually fast and good service!

Open Sunday. Authentic and Americanized food options so everyone will find something to love. And the fried ice cream my grandson ordered came out sizzling. Yum.

Good food. Waitress ignored empty glass at the end of the table for 10 minutes while she stood at the cash register on her phone .... it was not busy. I asked the waiter, he was more than gracious to help us. No tip for her.

We come here during the work week for lunch because we know the service is fast, the food comes quickly and we can be back to the office in time. I always get the pollo con queso which is delicious. Great salsa too.

Don't let the size of the town persuade you to keep looking for a restaurant. This one is a hidden gem. Nothing fancy, just Mexican home style cooking. It is a pleasant mom and pop with a large menu offering seafood and vegetarian specialties along with standard fare. Prices are reasonable and portions are ample. Could seat a large group. The open seating area may be loud on busy nights but a great spot for casual dining.

Messed up my order then they tried to tell me I told them the wrong thing even though they read my order back to me on the phone and it was all correct. Pathetic and embarrassing

The restuarant is getting a little run down. The bathrooms are not the cleanest but useable. Food is ok.

I got a burrito grande with 4 meats. It was good.

Bathrooms were disgusting. Server was nice but meal took a long time. Flavor was below average.

Internet says open. They close at 2 and reopens at 4;30. We drove an hour to get here. Then the hostess was rude.

Waited 15 minutes to get seated while the wait staff all knew we were there. The food was bland, sorry to say the best part was the chips and salsa. At time to pay we had to wait at the register in a similar fashion to what began this lack luster evening.

The decor was cute staff friendly , poor food , we drove thru town from Des Moines this place may be a Hit for the locals but my food tasted like soap, I'm having heartburn at the moment. Avoid this place unless I guess you're a local.

Super super good Mexican food and this is from a Texan coming up to Iowa to eat Mexican food. was fantastic you were served enough to feed an army and you had food to take home , what else can you say.

To start, the salsa was great. I ordered the burrito grande and the name does not false advertise. This could probably be a meal for two people. In addition to being a large quantity, it was quality! The flavor was excellent. I only wish that they were closer and I wasn't just passing through (although my waist probably appreciates it).

Food is decent, however don't try to call in a to-go order. They either don't answer, or pick up the line and leave the phone off the hook. Not very friendly service.

Good food, popular place to eat in a quiet little town. Service was fast and polite, and it was clean hars to find parking as it is on the square and parking is limited.

Haven't been there for a while went back again with my mother, food was very good but the service was subpar mind you was later on in the evening and it was some high school kid.
